Description

Experience Level: BA in Finance or Accounting required plus 3+ years of direct relevant experience.

Top 3-5 Required Skills:
1. Experienced in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports including variance analysis. Strategic thinker, extremely analytical, advanced financial modeling, and great presentation skills.
2. Advance Excel, and Access skills. Intermediate Tableau skills.
3. Experienced in month-end close process including preparation of JE, budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and analysis.
4. Design or development experience including Tableau dashboards, reports and front-end visualizations and analysis with ability to tell stories with data, succinctly.

Desired Skills:
1. Tableau certified - Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate or Tableau Desktop Certified.
2. Working knowledge of data base concepts and business intelligence tools (SQL, Business Objects, Cognos, TM1, etc.).
3. Experience with SQL to query complex databases from different transactional systems and data warehouses.
5. Experienced in a relevant environment such as a healthcare environment.
6. Knowledge of Large Facility health care and/or IT business support operations and applications.
7. Well-developed communication and data presentation skills.

Soft Skills:
1. Comfortable collaborating with cross functional teams and engaging stakeholder to gather requirement and build to those requirements to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
2. Able to work with business leaders and put yourself in their shoes with proven success in contributing collaboratively to a team-oriented environment.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills, able to gather necessary details in order to determine a proper solution.

Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Design or develop Tableau dashboards, reports and front-end visualizations and analysis – be able to tell stories with data, succinctly.
Translate complex, technical info into simple, engaging visuals that a less-technical audience will easily understand.
2. Prepares financial reports and conducts comprehensive analyses with written summaries to management.
Performs financial analysis upon identification of variances.
Participates in the planning and development of departmental budgets/forecasts.
3. Perform general accounting duties for month-end close including GL entry preparation, account reconciliation, and account analysis.

Description:
Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed. Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
