Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in SQA, software testing or related field.
Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Top 3-5 Required Skills:
1. 4+ years working with Oracle database (12c and Exadata).
2. Ability to develop complex SQL queries for determining expected results and comparing with actual results.
3. 5+ years’ hands on industry experience as a QA analyst. Extensive manual testing experience.
4. Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies with JIRA tools usage.
5. Experience performing manual testing on Web applications and BI reports created in Cognos/ Tableau.
Desired Skills:
1. Ability to develop complex SQL queries for determining expected results and comparing with actual results.
2. Experience with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools
3. Understanding of automation test framework design and some experience with developing automation test scripts and executing automation test suites.
Soft Skills:
1. Must be able to work well with a diverse cross-functional team and communicate clearly and frequently with all team members
2. Must be able to work well independently with limited direction

Job Description:
Designs, develops and executes high level test plans and detailed test cases to ensure complex software on multiple platforms and in multiple environments meets business and technical specifications.

1. Develops test scenarios and executes test cases across all testing phases
2. Use tracking and debugging tools to file, monitor and resolve issues/defects.
3. Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area; supporting the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines.• Determines testing scope and approach and collaborates with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review and approve the overall testing approach.
• Develops test scenarios and executes test cases across all testing phases
• Ensures test plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones.
• Write and understand complex SQL queries to perform backend (database) testing.
• Use tracking and debugging tools to file, monitor and resolve issues/defects.
• Communicating clearly and frequently with all team members, stakeholders and project/product owners impacted by test and troubleshooting results.
• Defines and ensures adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards
• Participate in daily scrum and bi-weekly sprint planning meetings
• Generates scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provides daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management, as appropriate.
