Project Management needs for TO Medicare Optimization and RAA
Education/Experience:
BA/BS Degree or 4 years of additional experience
5+ years of experience required.
Time commitment: Full time, ~0.6 Medicare Optimization and ~0.4 Risk Adjustment Accuracy
• Project Management experience is required - PMP Certification is preferred, not required.
• Health plan background is required
• Sales and marketing experience is preferable
• Medicare and/or risk adjustment experience is preferable (in any of the following areas):
o Medicare sales
o Medicare strategy
o Medicare marketing
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to communicate and coordinate efforts with mid-level management and frontline staff while interfacing with Transformation Office Leadership
• Ability to work independently, identifying risks to plans, next steps and facilitating meetings
• Flexibility and ability to communicate changes
• Coordinate with middle management and front-line staff
• Independent worker
• Identify risks that come with making changes in Medicare sales area, drive meetings and agendas.
Description:
Leads the delivery of a highly complex project(s).
Maintains a tactical focus.
Sets clear objectives and defined deliverables.
Develops cost benefit analyses for the project, communicates to an executive committee, creates and reports project status utilizing a dashboard, allocates resources, defines project governance policies and manages the financial concerns.
Utilizes and effectively communicates technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.
Ability to lead a cross-functional team while motivating team members to their highest potential.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills.
Excellent analytical skills. Interfaces effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units.
Effectively utilizes external vendors and internal resources.
Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
