Project Summary
• The Technical Services team develops and maintains high performing business solutions (applications and reports), which support Client’s Sales, Renewal, and Underwriting processes.
• The work methodology employed by the team is a combination of Agile Scrum and Kanban.
• We are currently looking to add a Database Engineer/Developer, who will assist with the development of PL/SQL Functions, Stored Procedures, Design and Development of Relational Databases, Tables, Views, SQL Report Development, and ETL jobs.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities
• Develop Data/Reporting Solutions
• Manage Databases
• Work with Application and Report developers to design solutions

Overall Responsibilities
• Design and Development of Relational Databases
• Design and Build Tables, Views, etc
• Design and Develop ETL jobs, and maintain existing jobs
• Design and Develop SQL Reports as needed
• Design and Develop PL/SQL Functions, Stored Procedures, etc.

Required Skills
• Degree or equivalent experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Years of experience:
Minimum five (5) years of related professional experience.

Knowledge of specific tools or skill sets that are highly preferred:
Tools: Toad for Oracle, Oracle SQL Developer, Netbeans 8+, Oracle 12, SQL Server, DB2, Windows Server 2012, Crystal Reports, MS Excel, Jenkins, Rally

Skills:
Thorough knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Relational Databases - REQUIRED.
Extensive Oracle 12 experience REQUIRED.
SQL Server experience - REQUIRED.
DB2 experience - nice to have.
Experience with developing/maintaining ETL jobs/processes - nice to have.

Nice to haves
• Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related experience - nice to have.
• Experience working in an Agile environment - nice to have.
• Experience in an Insurance related field - nice to have.
• Oracle Certification(s) - nice to have.
• Java experience - nice to have.
• C# Experience - nice to have.
